A California man has admitted driving more than 29 pounds of methamphetamine to Kansas.
30-year-old Christian Delgado-Lopez appeared in federal court in Wichita and pleaded guilty Monday to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Delgado-Lopez was stopped for a traffic violation in Meade County and Kansas Highway Patrol troopers found 14 packages of meth in his vehicle.
Sentencing has been scheduled for April 12th. Delgado-Lopez faces at least ten years in federal prison and a fine of up to $10 million.
