First, the game.  I tried to find something redeeming about the game.  When we don’t have a team in the game, we often say, “I just want it to be close” and it was.  However, it was dreadfully boring.  The offensive of the Rams was truly “offensive”.  The halftime show was doomed to fail from the moment it was announced and no one watches for the commercials anymore because you can watch them on Youtube days in advance.  Let’s talk about the commercials.  For me, most of them were “MEH” at best, some completely missed the mark and a few stood out.  Here are 2 of my favorites.

The NFL’s biggest game needs to be fixed and it can be.   MOVE IT TO SATURDAY.  There are so many reasons this is a good idea, not the least of which, people will no longer have to call in “sick” on Monday.  Here in the Wichita area, being a military town, its safe to say there are so many football fans scattered around the world because of their job, service, etc.  A Saturday night game makes sense for them and if the NFL wants to grow viewership, Saturday is the answer.  Read More in this USA Today article
