Three-time Minor League Executive of the Year, Jay Miller, has been named the President of Wichita’s incoming Triple-A baseball franchise. Miller has spent 38 years in professional baseball and made a positive impact at every stop along the way. Most recently, he has won two Atlantic League championships with the Sugar Land Skeeters, increased attendance in successive seasons, and set a league record single-game mark for attendance in 2016. He also worked for the MLB’s Texas Rangers for twelve seasons, and helped lead the New Orleans Zephyrs to their first ever Triple-A World Series Championship. “I am so excited and blessed to be in Wichita, and I’m so grateful for this opportunity,” Miller said. “The people of Wichita have been so welcoming and we look forward to providing them with an amazing ballpark.”
