A 25-year-old man has been charged with attempted first degree murder for a February 6th shooting in south Wichita.
Jeffrey Porter, Jr was arrested Monday in Riley County. He was wanted for a shooting in the 24-hundred block of South Glendale. A 21-year-old man was shot several times and was hospitalized in serious condition. No details have been released on the circumstances or the motive in the shooting.
Porter is being held on a bond of $250,000. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for February 21st.
