A 58-year-old woman is expected to be OK after being shot.
Wichita police were called to the 800 block of South San Pablo, near Lincoln and Woodlawn, around 1 a.m. The injured woman reports hearing a knock at the door before someone started shooting through the door. The woman was hit in the back and her injuries were not described as life-threatening.
Two adults and a baby were in the home during the shooting but nobody else was hurt.
Police say they don’t believe this shooting was random, but no information on a suspect or motive has been released so far.
