A woman from Wichita is dead after a crash in Kechi overnight.
The Kansas Highway Patrol stated 24-year-old Brooke Spainhower was driving on K-254 around 1:45 Friday morning, when her 2002 Toyota Camry crashed into a bridge rail at Oliver and caught on fire.
Spainhower was the only one in the car, and she died. The highway patrol stated they don’t know if she was wearing a seatbelt because of the fire.
