The Kansas Highway Patrol said three people from El Dorado were the victims of a fatal crash northeast of Wichita.
A car and a large box truck collided early Wednesday afternoon at K-254 and Greenwich Road, and the three people in the car were pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as 41-year-old Terry Wehry, 44-year-old Renata Wehry, and 68-year-old Lonnie Jesser.
The driver of the truck had minor injuries.
Traffic was closed or restricted on westbound K-254 for several hours while the KHP investigated the crash.
