Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Marine veteran Noah Currier.  In 2003 Noah died 3 days after returning home from deployment in Iraq.  Doctors revived Noah after his accident but he’s been in a wheel chair ever since.  Paralyzed from the chest down at 21, Noah fell into a deep depression and that’s when friend encouraged him to visit the VA’s Winter Sports Clinic where he learned to ski in Colorado.   Since then, Noah had found life and purpose in sports and is encouraging other veterans to do the same.  Noah has gone on to create a million dollar apparel company called “Oscar Mike” aimed at helping other veterans discover the benefits of sports.  Thank you Noah for your service.
