Dollar Tree robbed at gunpoint in east Wichita

Two men robbed a Dollar Tree store at gunpoint Thursday night.

It happened shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday at Lincoln and Oliver.  Two men entered the store, and one pulled out a handgun and demanded money.

The men took cash and left the area on foot.  No one was hurt in the robbery.

Wichita Police are hoping the public might be able to identify the suspects.  The first man is describe a black male in his 40’s.

He is around 6 feet tall, with an average build.  He was wearing a black, puffy coat, blue jeans and was armed with a black handgun.

The second suspect is also described as a black male in his 40’s, 6 feet tall, with an average build.  He was wearing a dark blue hoodie and light colored pants.

Anyone with information about the robbery or who might be able to identify the suspects, is asked to contact Wichita Police detectives at 268-4407, or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
