KDOT has fired an employee for tweeting President Trump that he is a communist. On the official KDOT Twitter account, the agency says an employee sent a tweet from the “SC Kansas KDOT” account that has since been deleted. KDOT reports this was, “an unacceptable use of state communication tools. The person who sent the tweet is no longer an employee of KDOT.”
That tweet directed at President Trump read, “You’re a delusional communist. You know it’s communist countries that try to control media, right?”
KDOT didn’t report the name of the employee.
