Kansas Senator Jerry Moran is introducing a bill to help improve National Guardsmen and Reservists’ access to consistent mental health. The Care and Readiness Enhancement for Reservists Act — or CARE for short — aims to improve access to mental healthcare even when service members aren’t deployed.
= They would be able to access mental health screenings, counseling, employment assessments, and education training.
