The City of Maize is hosting an open house for its Academy Arts District Master Plan.

You can head to the Maize City Hall (10100 W Grady Avenue) beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 to check out the progress on the plan.

The plan is an effort for Maize to give itself more of a distinct identity separate from Wichita. It will focus on Academy Ave. and Park Ave. to create a “safe and walkable core in Maize,” according to the Master Plan website.
