A 19-year-old man is expected to be OK after a shooting Thursday afternoon, near 17th and Oliver.

Wichita police say the 19-year-old was in a car with a 19-year-old woman, near Regents and Shocker Drive. There was a disturbance between the 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old suspect who was outside the car. Police say the teens shot at each other during the fight.

The 19-year-old was hit in the leg and is expected to be OK.

The 18-year-old suspect was with an 18-year-old woman, who both ran off. Police say they were caught after a short foot chase in the area. The man was arrested for shooting into a vehicle. The woman was arrested for a warrant.

Police say the woman who was with the victim also had a warrant and was arrested.

So far, exactly what led up to this shooting is not clear.
