A 17-year-old is recovering at home after he was shot Thursday night in north Wichita.
It happened in the 600 block of W. 20th Street N. The teen told police he was walking around 9 p.m. when he approached a red pickup truck that was stopped in the street.
Someone inside of the truck fired shots and he was struck several times. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.
Police are still investigating and ask anyone who may have information to contact detectives at 268-4407 or Crime Stoppers, at 267-2111.
