Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors U.S. Army veteran Ricky Raley. This past Saturday, Ricky set off from Dallas for a cross country journey on his hand cycle. He plans to travel 1200 miles across the U.S. Ricky says he’s not doing it for the personal fame and attention but for a much more important reason. Ricky is on this ride to raise money and awareness for Boot Campaign’s Health and Wellness Program. The money raised will go the the national nonprofit organization’s health and wellness program that works to treat PTSD, traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, self-medication and insomnia. Thank you Ricky for your dedication and your service.
