Hutchinson police and Reno County sheriff’s deputies have served 65 arrest warrants in a year-long drug investigation.
The Reno County Drug Enforcement Unit began investigating drug distribution cases about a year ago, and arrests were made in Hutchinson, South Hutchinson, and in rural areas of the county. Officers and deputies made 13 arrests on Wednesday and another arrest was made Thursday morning. Some of the suspects had several warrants because of different dates and locations where the crimes took place. Some warrants were served on people who were already in custody and more arrest warrants are expected later.
