Police have identified the man who apparently drowned in a pond in northeast Wichita on Wednesday. 71-year-old Robert Dashiell was found in a pond in the 3200 block of North Toben, in a commercial area near K-96 and Webb Road.
Police found fishing equipment nearby and believe that Dashiell died as a result of an accident or a possible medical condition. An autopsy report was not available.
