A convicted sex offender has been charged with kidnapping for an incident at a west Wichita motel.
39-year-old Daniel Withrow had an appearance in Sedgwick County district court Thursday on charges of kidnapping and attempted aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
An eight-year-old girl was dragged into a storage shed on May 5th near a motel at Kellogg and 119th Street West. She screamed and the man ran away. Police later arrested Withrow at his home.
Withrow is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 16th.
