Wichita man accused of kicking toddler enters plea agreement

A Wichita man accused of kicking a toddler at an east side grocery store has entered into a plea agreement with prosecutors.

32-year-old Trace Riff pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated battery, a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor count of unlawful abuse of toxic vapors.  The drug charges are from arrests in separate cases.   Riff will be sentenced on August 20th.

Riff was arrested in December at a Dillons store at Douglas and Hillside.  He was accused of kicking a one-year-old boy in the back and then shouting obscenities and racial slurs.
