Sedgwick County has closed a portion of Ridge Road northwest of Valley Center as a result of the recent heavy rains.
The culvert under Ridge Road near 93rd Street North has washed out, and it will be closed for about four days. Public works crews will be replacing the box culvert to avoid any further road collapse.
