Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Army Veteran Jimmy Thomas. Jimmy’s best friend is a service dog named Boots. Jimmy and Boots became friends after they both graduated from Woofs for Warriors, a nonprofit group that matches dogs with veterans who are in need of emotional support or service dogs. Boots has made such a difference in Jimmy’s life, that next week he heads out on a 2-month, cross-country cycling trip to help bring awareness to Woofs for Warriors. Good luck Jimmy and thank you for your dedication and your service.
