Free summer meals from USD 259 open to Wichita children

Children in Wichita can get free meals from the Wichita School District through the summer.

The USD 259 Summer Food Service Program is open through August 2, 2019. Anyone 18 years old or younger can visit one of the district’s 42 locations every weekday for free meals. The children do not need to be enrolled or fill out any paperwork to take part in the program.

“Summer meals are open to ALL children, 18 and younger, with no enrollment and NO cost,” the district states on its website. “Come join us!”
