A Wichita man is dead following an accident on Highway 77 in Cowley County.
It happened shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 23000 block of the Highway near Winfield. 57-year-old Donald Cage was riding a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle northbound on the highway when the front tire popped, causing him to lose control.
Cage and his 57-year-old wife Rebecca were thrown from the motorcycle. Both were transported by EMS to South Central Kansas Medical Center, where Donald was later pronounced dead. Rebecca Cage’s current condition is unknown.
