Target says on Twitter that all systems are a go.
On Twitter, Target says their registers are all fully back online and that today’s two-hour outage in stores was due to an “internal technology issue.” Target also confirms today’s mishap was NOT a data breach and, “no guest information was compromised at any time.”

You may have been affected by Target stores’ computer outage today. In a tweet they posted around 2pm, Target says:
We’re aware that guests are currently unable to make purchases at Target stores. Our teams are troubleshooting now and we apologize for the inconvenience. We will provide an update as soon as possible
