Wichita businessman Brandon Steven has pleaded guilty in federal court in Wichita in connection to a gambling investigation.
Steven was in federal court Tuesday afternoon, where he pled guilty to one count of transmission of wagering information. The charges stem from his involvement in illegal gambling in Wichita.
After entering the plea, Steven was sentenced to 3 years of supervised probation. He has already forfeited $1.095 million dollars, so he will not need to make restitution in the case.
