A DUI checkpoint will operate this weekend in Wichita.
The checkpoint will be operated by Wichita Police, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office and by troopers with the Kansas Highway Patrol. The checkpoint will be set up somewhere in the Wichita area and will operate from 10 p.m. Saturday, to 2 a.m. Sunday.
Law enforcement will be checking for seat belt use, drivers licenses, and proof of insurance, and anyone suspected of driving under the influence will be tested.
