Wichita man pleads not guilty in fatal 2018 crash

A Wichita man has entered a not guilty plea to charges related to a fatal crash in 2018.

36-year-old James Dalrymple appeared in Sedgwick County district court Tuesday to enter the not guilty plea on involuntary manslaughter and failing to yield the right of way.

Prosecutors said Dalrymple was driving a pickup that collided with a motorcycle on April 27, 2018 near the intersection of 21st Street North and 167th Street West.  The two people on the motorcycle, off duty Wichita police officer Stacey Woodson and his 11-year-old son Braeden, were killed.

Dalrymple is scheduled for trial on September 20th.
