A 43-year-old man is expected to be OK after an early morning shooting in east Wichita.
Officers got a call around 12:20 Monday morning and found the victim in the 5800 block of East Pine, close to Central and Edgemoor. A man claims he was sitting on his porch when people walked up and shot him. The 43-year-old had multiple gunshot wounds but police say his injuries were not life-threatening.
Several other people were in a home where the shooting took place, but they were not hurt.
Police say this was not random and that an investigation is going.
