Democratic Presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke made an unannounced visit to Wichita Tuesday morning, and then traveled to Kansas City.

O’Rourke met with Wichita city council member Brandon Johnson and others at R Coffeehouse near Riverside Park.   He said on Twitter that he was visiting communities “that have for too long been forgotten and counted out, not only to learn about their challenges but to learn about how they’re overcoming them.”

O’Rourke posted photos on Twitter of his visits to Wichita and Kansas City.
