Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Maria Barrett and Paula Lodi. The two ladies have enjoyed a lot of success during their career in the Army. Acting Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy says that comes as no surprise to anyone who knows them. The two of them have often been described as “leadership junkies” and have been a great source of pride to their friends and family. It’s no wonder they both have attained the rank of general. What’s unique about this, is that they are sisters and the Army believes this is the first time 2 sisters have been pinned with General’s stars.
