Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors the veteran owned and run company Svalinn.  Based in Montana, Svalinn became one of the first companies in the U.S. to offer civilians some of the most highly-trained canines in the world for personal protection and companionship.  Loyal and loving to family and loved ones, these dogs offer superior protection for their owners. Svalinn, which was founded and is operated by U.S. military veterans is named for the Norse mythological shield of ancient lore which is said to protect the Earth and its numerous inhabitants from the heat and fires of the Sun… and that’s exactly what Svalinn dogs are — a shield.  To all the veterans of Svalinn, thank you for your service.
