Police in Derby were called to check on a report of a suicidal person, and four schools were placed in a lockout situation as a precaution.

The lockout was put into effect late Thursday morning for Derby Hills Elementary, Tanglewood Elementary, Derby North Middle School and Derby High School.    Police said there was no threat made against any school.

Police later found the person they were looking for and that person was taken into custody.  The lockout was lifted around 3 p.m.
