A Wichita man has been charged in a fatal shooting that happened outside a southeast Wichita bar on September 29th.

42-year-old David Pressley is charged with second degree murder and criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.   He is being held on a bond of $250,000 and attorneys are scheduled to discuss the case on October 24th.

Police said a disturbance broke out on September 29th at Magoos Bar and Grill near Pawnee and Oliver.  The argument moved into the parking lot and several shots were fired.  29-year-old Demario Cooks was taken by private vehicle to a hospital, and he later died of his injuries.

Police identified Pressley as the suspect through a Crime Stoppers tip, and Pressley was arrested on October 5th near 13th and Perry.
