A Wichita attorney will see no time in prison in connection to a computer conspiracy case.

Brad Pistotnik appeared in federal court Wichita Tuesday where he changed his plea to guilty for his role in a cyberattack plot against websites that criticized his work.  Pistotnik had originally been charged with computer fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud and making false statements to the FBI.

He and his co-defendant were accused of launching cyberattacks on Leagle.com, Ripoffreport.com and JaburgWilk.com back in 2014 and 2015.  They also were accused of threatening to attack the websites advertisers.

Instead of felonies, Pistotnik pleaded guilty Tuesday to three misdemeanor counts of accessory after the fact.  He will not serve any time in prison or on probation, but will have to pay a fine of $375,000, restitution of $55,200 and $300 to the Crime Victims Fund.
