Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Marine veteran Juan Pacheco and Chris Macklin and Jennifer Wells, the Army veterans who help run Easterseals Veteran Services. Juan never returned to school after 10 years with the corp, he never finished school, he was caring for a special needs child and was dangerously close to being homeless. Then upon a referral he, he joined the office of the Easterseals Veteran Services and it was a perfect fit. He got the help he needed and they sent him back to school for his computer related skills. Chris and Jennifer say they take a personalized and empathetic approach toward every veteran that needs help, making sure the veteran knows it’s not a handout, you’re not begging, you’re a veteran. Thank you Juan, Chris and Jennifer for your service.
