An explosion at the Cargill facility in Dodge City has injured two employees.
It happened around 3:30 this morning according to City Administrator Jonthan Gilbert. Cargill says it happened in a stand alone building at its protein facility and the cause is under investigation.
Two workers have been treated for burns. The company says as an extra precaution, they have suspended operations for the day.

Our focus is on the safety of our employees and getting the best care for our colleagues.”
