Wichita Police say 3 young teens were arrested following a chase in a stolen car Monday afternoon.
Officers spotted a car that had been reported stolen the day before and attempted to stop the vehicle on southbound I-135 at Kellogg. It led to a brief chase that ended when the driver crashed on Pawnee near the interstate.
The 16-year-old girl driving the car, along with 5 passengers ran into the neighborhood. Police took her into custody for auto theft and flee and elude.
A 13-year-old boy was also arrested for auto theft, non-residential burglary, theft, and aggravated residential burglarly. A second 13-year-old was arrested on the same charges.
Police say the boys were also active runaways.
