A Wichita man has been indicted for the robbery of two Family Dollar stores.

The U. S. Attorney’s Office says 25-year-old Toney Williams is charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of brandishing a firearm during the robbery.  He is accused of using a gun to rob the Family Dollar store near Pawnee and Seneca on October 1, and the Family Dollar located at McCormick and Meridian on October 3.

No one was hurt in either robbery.  Wichita Police were able to use surveillance video of William’s parked car to identify him.

If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 for each robbery county, as well as a minimum of 7 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each brandishing a firearm during a robbery count.
