Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Air Force Veteran Matt Butler. Ask Matt and he’ll tell you there is no such thing as too much time spent outside, socializing with friends and family. It was that sort of mentality, the idea of bringing people together, that he created his award winning lawn game called “Rollors”. Matt says, “Everyone is so attached to electronics, people don’t even socialize or verbalize much anymore. I wanted to create a way to get people to have fun together.” Matt credits his 20+ years of service and 10 deployments for helping create the game. While serving he picked up on popular past times in Europe and the Middle East. Matt says the game is easy but most importantly it’s a tool to get people together to have fun”.
