Two people were killed in a crash Saturday morning near Belleville, Kansas.
A Highway Patrol crash reported says this happened at the Highway 81 and 36 junction, southwest of Belleville. The driver of car turned in front of a semi while trying to go south on Highway 81 from westbound 36. The semi driver tried to avoid the car but ended up hitting it and rolling over.
Both people in the car were killed. They are identified at 62-year-olds Steven and Sherry Torres, both from Belleville.
The driver of the semi is OK.
