Today Star Spangled Salute honors Vietnam Marine veteran Tim Christian.  Tim is a single father of 5 who for more than 10 years has put his family and his community first.  Tim spent that time collecting toys for kids and meals for their families around Christmas. That took a lot of time and effort and put a lot of miles on his car that had a leaky gas tank and a muffler that was falling off.  Tim has also been battling several heart issue.  So this year, Tim is getting the gift from his local Chevy dealership and the Veterans Housing Coalition.  Tim was just handed the keys to a new car to replace his car which is 20 years old and has over 300,000 miles on it.  Thank you Tim for your service and your generous spirit.
