Holidays in Old Town begins today with free Clydesdale carriage rides from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in Old Town Square. There will also be a chance for kids to take their picture with Santa and the Wichita Police Department Clydesdale horses. Residents and businesses will be participating in an Old Town decorating contests, and you can vote for your favorites at Facebook.com/OldTownWichita. You can also shop local and get a Small Business ICT passport stickers to win prizes. Other events include:
- Free Clydesdale carriage rides from 5-8 p.m. November 29th, and December 6th, 13th, and 20th.
- Santa and his Clydesdale in the Square, Saturday, November 30 from 12 to 2 p.m.
- Mayor Longwell’s Christmas Tree Lighting in Old Town Square, Sunday, December 1 at 6 p.m.
- New holiday lights and decorations
