Fourth person charged in fatal Wichita shooting

A first degree murder charge has been filed against a fourth person in connection with a fatal shooting outside a Wichita motel.

57-year-old Cassell Peterson made his first appearance in Sedgwick County district court on Monday.    He is being held on a bond of $100,000, and attorneys are scheduled to discuss the case at a December 12th hearing.

First degree murder charges have also been filed against 49-year-old Bryant Bailey, 52-year-old Robyn Murphy and 60-year-old Annette Williams.

Police said 55-year-old Timothy Austin was shot and killed November 24th after an argument in a motel parking lot in the 800 block of South Broadway.  Investigators said the shooting was drug-related.
