One dead, two injured in crash east of Harper

A Harper man is dead and two others were seriously hurt in a crash east of Harper Sunday evening.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says it happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. on U160, two miles east of Harper.  65-year-old Paul Raberding was driving a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo westbound on U160 about two miles east of Harper when for an unknown reason he crossed the center line and struck an eastbound Chrysler Pacifica.

Raberding was taken by EMS to Harper Hospital where he died a short time later.  The driver the Chrysler and his passenger were also injured.

The driver, a 52-year-old Harper resident was taken by EMS to Wesley Medical Center for treatment.  His passenger, a 70-year-old Harper woman, was taken to Harper Hospital for treatment.
