A man who died in a a rollover accident south of Garden Plain Monday afternoon has been identified.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office says it happened shortly after 1 p.m. on 47th Street south near 311th Street West. James Wilson was traveling westbound on 47th in the left lane, when he left the road and went into the ditch.
The vehicle rolled into a field and Wilson was partially ejected. EMS arrived, but were unable to revive Wilson, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s not known yet why Wilson was in the wrong lane or why he left the roadway.
