The Kansas Humane Society has been caring for eight puppies that were found last week in a dumpster in northeast Wichita.
In a series of posts on Twitter, the Humane Society said the puppies were found near 29th and Rock Road and they were placed in emergency foster care.
The puppies are around four weeks old, and the Humane Society said their health is gradually improving. It will be at least a month before any of the puppies are ready for adoption.
