Shockers, Jayhawks and Wildcats Win

All three Kansas Div. I basketball teams were in action, Sunday.

At Charles Kock Arena, the Wichita State Shockers defeated Abilene Christian, 84 to 66, giving them a record of 11 and 1.  Grant Sherfield had a double/double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.  The Shockers begin AAC play when they host East Carolina on New Year’s Day.

5th ranked Kansas defeated Stanford, 72 to 56, at Stanford. Isaiah Moss lead the Jayhawks with 17 points.  The Jayhawks begin Big 12 play when they host #22, West Virginia on Saturday.

The Kansas State Wildcats narrowly defeated Tulsa, 69 to 67.  With just under 30 seconds left in the game, K-State made a 3-pointer to take the lead.  Kansas State plays at Oklahoma on Saturday to begin Conference play.
