A woman killed in a crash in Dodge City has been identified as 26-year-old Vanessa Guzman, of Dodge City.
This happened Saturday morning at Wyatt Earp and Matt Down, at the west end of town.
Police officers were headed to a break-in and were driving west on Wyatt Earp. Guzman wan driving a car and crossing north on Matt Down and was hit on the passenger side by an an officer. Guzman’s car rolled after being hit and the Highway Patrol says she was thrown from her car.
The officer that hit the woman was in an SUV and was described as having minor injuries.
