A 15-year-old boy accused in the shooting death of his mother has appeared in juvenile court on a charge of second degree murder.
A hearing was held Friday to discuss motions and evidence in the case. The boy is charged with second degree murder in the death of 41-year-old Lisa Trimmell. Her body was found in June, 2018 at her home in the 3200 block of North 159th Street East, near Andover.
Attorneys have argued that Trimmell was abusive toward her two sons, who were 14 and 12 at the time of her death.
