A 54-year-old Hutchinson man has been arrested, accused of embezzling $384,000 from his employer.
Police were called Thursday morning to B&B Hydraulic at 2400 Line Road on the report of theft. As they investigated, it was determined that Anthony Mills had embezzled approximately $384,000, starting back in 2017, to pay personal debts.
Mills was on probation at the time of the alleged crimes. State Parole and the Reno County Sheriff’s Office assisted Hutchinson Police with collecting evidence.
Mills was taken into custody. He is being held without bond on charges of Embezzlement over $100,000 and Computer Crime.
